About Lori-Lyn

I was born the day after Valentine’s Day, 1969, in the small town of Richmond, Kentucky. I spent a lot of time on my grandparent’s farm and it was there I first experienced a connection to earth and spirit that I fully understood but had no idea how to express.

I was a sensitive girl. I felt and knew things about people, places, and land that went beyond the ordinary, but I didn't talk about it much. I was labeled shy, nervous, tender-hearted, but as I got older, I began to understand that my deep sensitivity was a gift, not an impairment.

From the moment I found a book in a used book store with a pair of "healing hands" on the cover, I was drawn to the path of Reiki and energy healing. I read about it and talked about it and experimented with it on my own for years before I finally found a loving group of nurses and practitioners who welcomed me in to their midst.

And when I was ready, I found my teacher.

I've been practicing Reiki since 1999 and I was attuned to Usui Reiki III in 2008. As a result, I experienced a deep shift, both in my physical and energetic body, and in my perception of what it is to be here in a body. (You can see my Reiki lineage here.)

Learning Reiki was an awakening for me, and its gentle power continues to assist me in transforming my life. Through Reiki, I understand myself and my place in the world, but more importantly, I understand the ability each of us has to facilitate healing in one another's lives. We are all activated for healing, in our hands and our in our hearts.

Learning about energy has has shown me that true human nature is alignment with spiritual joy. It has shown me that we are love surrounded by love, that this world is an abundant and supportive place to be.

In 1992, I earned my bachelor's degree in studio art and shortly thereafter, moved to New York City where I lived for nearly a decade. While I was there, I learned a lot about losing and then regaining my voice. I learned what it felt like to give my power away, and I learned what it felt like to stand firmly within it.

I also experienced a profound psychic awakening and began to understand the real and completely normal presence of angels and spirit guides in my life. As this understanding expanded, I saw that it was entirely possible for me to transform the way it felt to be alive. The anxieties that had plagued me since childhood, weren't the "real" me.

In 1998, I earned a master of fiction writing degree and a couple of years later, returned to Kentucky.

As my experiences with Reiki and energy work developed, so did my psychic and intuitive abilities.

We all have psychic abilities. Choosing to develop them is just like learning to play the piano or grow a lush garden. Through a daily journaling and meditation practice, I learned to clearly hear the voices of spirit and embraced the language of my heart and soul.

An avid collector of oracle and tarot cards, I began to offer oracle card readings to my friends and before long, I realized intuitive information was zooming in before I could even put the cards on the table. I realized I didn't need cards in order to deliver messages of spirit. This form of deep listening became the heart of my professional work and my passion.

While I experience clairvoyance and empathic understanding, I work primarily as a spiritual channel, delivering the messages of your spirit allies to you.

I see intuition and spiritual guidance as an art form and it's one that I happily and creatively practice.

My Reiki practice has expanded to include lesser known modalities and lines of Reiki, such as Imara, as well as other Shamanic and energy healing technique.

In 2012, I had the extreme pleasure of studying with Denise Linn, and became a certified Master Soul Coaching © Oracle Card Practitioner.

When I accepted my natural abilities and stepped on to this path, my life bloomed open in magical ways.

Now, I live with my man Tracy, our boy wonder Woody (the pug) and his sidekick (baby brother pug) Rocky.

And I continue to study, listen, and develop what I do so that I can help you better.

It is my mission to help you align with LOVE and remember who you are.

The love I'm talking about is Divine Love, the the love of the universe, the love of source, the love of the mother earth. It's Christ Consciousness and the Buddha and all the saints and angels, the fairies and the beating of your own heart. It's the light that you flows through you, the light that creates you. When you are aligned with love, you understand that God is not something you reach for. You understand that you are the physical extension of God, here on earth.

Who you are is Love.

I'm on this mission because through energy balance and clearing; spiritual communication; meditation and prayer, my life was transformed. I learned how to shift out of anxiety and into trust, and I know that you can, too.

My mission is spiritual and energetic wellness.

I'm here to share what I've learned with you, to tell you my story and listen to yours.

It's never my wish to tell you what you should believe. (There are no shoulds.)
